We were honored to present the 2026 SOLC Conservation Award to long-time regional leader and SOLC Board Vice Chair Molly Morison at our Annual Picnic at Rogue River Preserve last weekend.
Molly worked with The Nature Conservancy for more than twenty-five years and has served on SOLC’s Board of Directors for nine years. She has also served on other Boards including La Clinica and the Johnson Creek Watershed Council. She recently joined the Board at The Understory Initiative/Vesper Meadow Restoration Project. A botanist and producer of biodynamic wines at Upper Five Vineyard, Molly is a dedicated conservation leader whose impact can be felt across the Rogue Valley. She is known for her kindness, warmth, and expertise while also being humble and extraordinarily gracious. With this skill set, she has supported and inspired countless volunteers, coworkers, peers, and young professionals. Through her volunteerism, mentorship, community building, and steadfast support of environmental work, Molly exemplifies the spirit of conservation stewardship that this award celebrates.
