Throughout the year, a variety of activities and special events take place to engage our community. Check our calendar for updates, sign-up for our monthly eNews, and ‘Like’ us on Facebook to stay current on upcoming gatherings around the region.
Annual Member Picnic
Each year we come together to celebrate the amazing support from our members. Hosted at a special property, spend the afternoon enjoying a short hike or site tour, and complimentary lunch. We also use this opportunity to bestow our Conservation Award, honoring an individual whose commitment to conservation has had a major impact on our region. This event is open to all Southern Oregon Land Conservancy members and guests.
New Member Farm Dinner
The first Thursday in August—during the height of harvest season—we welcome our newest members with a locally sourced dinner on a nearby farm. This annual event is a great way to learn more about Southern Oregon Land Conservancy and to get to know other supporters, staff, and board members.
Landmark Member Outing
Landmark Members are those who provide significant financial support for our work, donating $500 or more each year. As our way of saying “thank you” to our most generous members, we plan a special VIP outing on one of our preserved properties, complete with lunch, guest speakers, and a champagne toast.
This is our big night of fun! Since 2003, we’ve celebrated our conservation successes with an evening of wine, food, music, and delight. Each year, this gala and fundraising event outdoes the year before. In 2015, TV and movie star (and local resident), Patrick Duffy was our Master of Ceremonies. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 28, 2016 for a night to remember.
