Phoenix Sigalove began his career as a singer/songwriter and storyteller following a year long horseback journey from Montana to Mexico. His music weaves themes of Native identity, social responsibility, and environmental accountability together with grace, gratitude, and redemption.
Art Exhibition by Fiona Barnacle
Fiona Barnacle’s highly detailed and intricate prints remind us of the beauty of nature and how precious our natural environment is. Living in a small solar-powered cabin in the forest of the Rogue-Umpqua Divide, biodiversity has always been her passion, and the woodlands of her home have offered a vast glimpse of the Pacific Northwest, somewhere that has been an endless fount of inspiration for Fiona. Influenced by scientific illustration and turn-of-the-century decorative arts, particularly wood engravings, Fiona uses similar techniques that a medieval printmaker would recognize to craft her flora and fauna compositions, similar to minimal and modern machinery.
