On April 18 we will welcome our newest members with a special event.
This annual outing is a great way to learn more about Southern Oregon Land Conservancy and to get to know other supporters, staff, and board members. Enjoy a hike through the conserved Britt Woods led by SOLC Stewardship Director, Kristi Mergenthaler, followed by a vegetarian dinner at the Jacksonville Community Center. Wildflower highlights include spring favorites like cat ears, lilies, irises and the endangered Gentner's fritillary. If you can't make the hike, join us just for dinner.
Directions to this member-only event and other details will be emailed upon registration.
Registration will close on April 10.
Feel free to call our office for assistance registering, to check your membership status, or to become a new member: 541-482-3069

If you ever peer into a half-rotted log you might be so lucky to find a slippery pair of eyes staring back at you. If you’re extremely lucky those eyes could belong to a Pacific giant salamander (Dicamptodon tenebrosus). Usually seen wriggling through woody debris or eating a mildly toxic banana slug, these marbled beauties are found throughout western Oregon.
