Landowners Bonnie Brown and Clem Stockard have been active stewards of this beautiful land for many years. Home to oak woodlands, mixed evergreen forest, chaparral, and riparian areas, the property is a host for a wide diversity of wildlife and plants. It is adjacent to BLM lands, some containing old growth forests and habitat for the Northern Spotted Owl. The conservation agreement also provides protection for Left Fork Sardine Creek which flows to the Rogue River. SOLC is excited to add this partnership to our family of 64 conserved properties, adding 47 acres to SOLC’s 10,273 acres of protected lands.
