Rogue River Preserve Stewardship Day

Join us for our first official volunteer work party on this stunning 352-acre Preserve!

WorkSource and weed wrenches

Protect the natural plant communities by helping us manage some of the invasive plants. We’ll be focusing on removing Scotch broom. This is a very satisfying process with our new weed wrenches, nicely modeled by a WorkSource crew who has already started pulling broom for us.

Other invasive plant targets may include yellow starthistle and English ivy. There is also a patch of wire fencing that we would like to remove from the garden area.

Feel free to join us for lunch along the Rogue River as well. Snacks and drinks will be provided. We welcome and encourage bringing a bag lunch.

Tools and gloves will be provided. Bring your favorite pair if you'd like.

Sign-up to receive directions, any updates and an email reminder.

Contact Teresa Fernandez if you have any questions or need help registering at 541.482.3069 ext 107 or teresa@landconserve.org.
