Volunteers enjoying a break along the Rogue River after generously helping remove invasive Scotch broom.
Help us care for this extraordinary property along the Rogue River. We need volunteers to pull invasive Scotch broom with weed wrenches to make room for native oaks, grasses, and wildflowers.
We’ll provide tools and gloves. Please feel free to bring your favorite gloves if you have some. We’ll also bring some snacks and drinks for sharing.

If you ever peer into a half-rotted log you might be so lucky to find a slippery pair of eyes staring back at you. If you’re extremely lucky those eyes could belong to a Pacific giant salamander (Dicamptodon tenebrosus). Usually seen wriggling through woody debris or eating a mildly toxic banana slug, these marbled beauties are found throughout western Oregon.
