Join us for a volunteer work party on this stunning 352-acre Preserve!
Doing the good work removing invasive Scotch broom, making room for more native oak trees and wildflowers.
Help us care for this extraordinary property along the Rogue River by pulling invasive Scotch broom with weed wrenches and may remove old fencing that is a hazard to wildlife.
Feel free to join us for lunch along the Rogue River as well. Snacks and drinks will be provided. We welcome and encourage bringing a bag lunch.
We’ll provide tools, gloves and snacks. Please feel free to bring your favorite gloves, fence tools, and wire cutters if you have some.
Sign-up to receive directions, any updates and an email reminder.
This event will be rescheduled if the day is stormy/rainy.
Contact Teresa Fernandez if you have any questions or need help registering at 541.482.3069 ext 107 or teresa@landconserve.org.
Plan a stewardship day with us!
We would love to coordinate a volunteer work party for your community or volunteer group. The work parties can include team-building time and educational activities or just straight up stewardship of a special place.

If you ever peer into a half-rotted log you might be so lucky to find a slippery pair of eyes staring back at you. If you’re extremely lucky those eyes could belong to a Pacific giant salamander (Dicamptodon tenebrosus). Usually seen wriggling through woody debris or eating a mildly toxic banana slug, these marbled beauties are found throughout western Oregon.
