Bear Gulch Preserve Adventure Hike

  • 84 4th Street Ashland, OR 97520 (map)

Check out Bear Gulch Preserve, located in the Colestin Valley and the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument!

Starting near the future wildlife crossing on I-5 near the border of California, we will walk through the Mariposa Botanical Area to get to a striking canyon at Bear Gulch Preserve, an invitation-only access preserve. There will be an optional hike from there to peek at Chocolate Falls on BLM Land. Our guides will be Bird Biologist, Frank Lospalluto, and Botanist and Stewardship Director, Kristi Mergenthaler, so there will be birding and flower-admiring along the way. However, they will not be the day’s primary focus.

This hike is limited to 15 participants.
