  • 84 4th Street Ashland, OR 97520 (map)

Join us for a winter hike at the Harry & Marilyn Fisher Preserve at Pompadour Bluff just outside of Ashland on a hike guided by SOLC staff. Walk though beautiful oaks and grasslands to the top of the bluff for spectacular views of Bear Creek Valley, the Cascades and the Siskiyou Mountains. Free, but please register for more information and to reserve a spot. We will meet in Ashland to carpool or caravan.

If the weather includes showers we will proceed, but not if it rains.

Difficulty: One-mile of moderately difficult walking on roads and trails on steep slopes at a slow pace with an elevation gain/loss (up then back down) of 560 ft.

Exact meeting location & directions: We will meet at the eastern side next to a meadow at the CVS (formerly Rite-Aid) parking lot in Ashland at 2341 Ashland Street, near Exit 14. Carpooling is encouraged. Please arrive a little before 2pm to help arrange carpools/caravan.
