2025 Annual All Member Picnic

Join us for the 2025 Annual All Member Picnic! We're excited to celebrate 47 years of incredible land conservation with our supporters, you. Come and meet new friends, relax by the river, and explore the magnificent Rogue River Preserve. There will be engaging activities, tasty food, and fun hikes!

Lunch On Us

Please bring your own reusable plates and utensils, as well as a water bottle.

Choice of Guided Hikes and Activities

Options will include a mushroom and conks stroll, an indigenous worldview plant walk, mellow tai chi along the river, a kids activity station for families, and more. Groups will be divided up at the picnic.

2025 Conservation Award

SOLC is honored to present our 2025 Conservation Award to long time cultural leader and Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians Council member Robert Kentta. Robert is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (Shasta and Applegate River Athabaskan ancestry) whose great-grandfather was born in the Applegate Valley and was orphaned in the 1850s during the Rogue River Wars when he was just 7 or 8 years old. Robert worked conducting research and writing reports on Siletz Treaties, and other history, in the 1980s and early 1990s, worked 30 years as Cultural Resource Director, is serving his 20th year on Tribal Council, and was instrumental in the Siletz Tribes' recent acquisition of sacred lands at Table Rocks.
