Help us care for this stunning 352-acre Rogue River Preserve by joining us for our fall work party.
Join us in the Colestin Valley, at this spectacular recently conserved 160-acre property with trails, oak woodlands, Acorn Woodpeckers and more, located 20 miles south of Ashland.
Here’s a chance for families to explore the Preserve. Bring your little ones and let them discover the wonders of nature. There will be a guided activity as well as lunch by the river. Some walking and lots of exploring.
Local photographer and naturalist, Mike Potts, will lead folks around the Rogue River Preserve to find, identify and learn about wild mushroom species that inhabit the Preserve. This is not a foraging outing but rather an opportunity to learn about mushrooms while exploring this beautiful piece of land along the Rogue River.
