Position Available: Office Manager

In collaboration with the Executive Director, SOLC accountant, and staff, the office manager handles daily bookkeeping tasks, general office communications, and donor record keeping and acknowledgement. Additionally, the OM assists with board and committee meetings, materials, and record keeping, attends staff and team meetings, provides donor services, and maintains office facility and supplies.
Position requires 1-3 years of experience in office administration and demonstrated relevant work experience and skills.
Necessary Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a variety of stakeholders with multiple interests and varying levels of authority to achieve organizational goals
Comfortable communicating our mission and vision to members of the public
Able to create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment
Comfortable in a small nonprofit setting with an ability to work well with volunteers, board members, and staff
Strong organizational skills and administrative aptitude with ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work with office productivity software applications (MS Office), event management platforms (EventBrite), donor database software (DonorPerfect) and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks)
Ability to work evenings and weekends as events require
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Maintain confidentiality of all member, donor, client, personnel, and business information and transaction

Hourly Rate: $14-$18 DOE
Office Location: Ashland, Oregon
Start Date: mid-December preferred
Work Schedule: M-TH, 9:00-2:00* with some evenings and weekends days required. *Preferred schedule.
