Cooperation is key to our mission - and our success

As passionate as we are about the land, we care just as much about the needs and concerns of our neighbors and fellow residents. That’s why the Land Conservancy is a leader among regional land trusts in protecting unique properties with important agricultural, ecological, and community values.

Conserve Your Land

The Southern Oregon Land Conservancy works with landowners who are interested in creating a permanent legacy of conserved land. These include farmers, ranchers, orchard owners, scenic property owners, small woodlot owners, owners of unique habitats, and others who want to ensure that their property is managed and taken care of according to their wishes throughout time.

The Land Conservancy creates special agreements with willing landowners that become permanent - despite changes in ownership. So far, over 8,300 acres of land in Southern Oregon have been protected this way.
