Valley Falls Preserve

This large ranch, 24 miles north of Lakeview, in eastern Oregon, lies where the forests and high country to the south and west transition to open sagebrush. The property contains a mosaic of valuable wildlife habitats, from meadows to sagebrush, and juniper woodlands to ponderosa pine and white fir forests. The high diversity of habitats create opportunities for a vast array of wildlife.  The property is adjacent to Abert Rim, one of the largest geological faults in North America and the dominant feature on the landscape.
