Protecting Scenic Land

Pilot Rock. Mt. McLaughlin.  The Table Rocks.

What do these places have in common?  They are the landmarks of southern Oregon.  These are the places that make our region a spectacular place to live, work, and visit.

The Southern Oregon Land Conservancy works with landowners from across the region who own property on or near this region's special places.  We work with these people to conserve the area around our landmarks to ensure that they remain the beautiful reminders of why we are here.

Oregon's current land use laws protect much of our landscape from needless waste. However, laws are anything but permanent and are subject to occasional political whim.

That's why we create permanent conservation agreements with landowners that run with the land.  We have conserved over 8,000 acres of land in our region, ensuring that it will always be there - for all of us.

Begin establishing your own legacy of protected land in our region today.  Our important work can only be accomplished with the support of community members like you.  You can make a secure, tax-deductible now donation through our online donation portal, Network for Good.
