Committees
The Land Conservancy has a number of standing committees that support the Board of Directors and staff. Committees are open to members of the community. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please Send us an Email.
Our Committees Include:
- Lands Committee
Responsibilities: To guide the project development and conservation easement stewardship by reviewing policies and procedures for land acquisition, landowner contact, baseline documentation, monitoring and other activities relating to the conservation of lands of interest and consistent with the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan. - Major Gifts Committee
Responsibilities: to ensure adequate resources to achieve the organization’s mission and implement the organization’s programs and projects, with a focus on large and major gift identification, acquisition and recognition. - Finance Committee
Responsibilities: To guide the overall direction and control of the organization’s finances including review of the annual budget and quarterly financial reports, establishing policy guidelines for investments, and review of the organization’s risk management policies. - Leadership Committee
Responsibilities: To assist the organization in building leadership capacity by recruiting, training and recognizing board members and Trustees.
