Colestin Valley

The Southern Oregon Land Conservancy holds conservation easements on five properties in the Colestin Valley- some of which are bordered by the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument.  These properties consist of a mix of oak woodland and savannah, open meadows and conifer forest.

The area is part of a high elevation bridge between the Southern Cascade Mountains to the east and Coast Range to the west which provide critical winter elk and deer habitat.
