We select lands for conservation based on a number of qualifying criteria. The most important feature of conservation work is to maintain the ecological health of our region.
From the pear orchards in the valley bottoms to the forests of the Siskiyou, Cascade, and Coastal mountain ranges, many of Southern Oregon’s finest lands are privately owned.
Recently, these lands have begun to exchange hands at an unprecedented rate.
